In a Facebook post, the teacher, using the social media ID @serendipitylover, disclosed teaching in Metro Manila.

However, DepEd said they would not disclose the teacher’s identity to protect her privacy.

“We don’t want the teacher to be subject to public scrutiny now that the admin process has started,” DepEd Assistant Secretary Francis Bringas said.

It can be recalled that the teacher went viral on the internet after she publicly lectured her students while livestreaming on her social media page.

“Hindi ako nag-board exam para lang hindi irespeto ng mga katulad niyong wala pa namang nararating sa buhay. Hindi na nga kayo matalino, sama pa ng ugali ninyo,” the teacher said.

DepEd said that they would still try to investigate if the incident happened inside the classroom during the working hours of the teacher.

Several netizens questioned why the teacher used social media during school hours.
