In one of the episodes of her online show with Rommel Chika and Wendell Alvarez, Cristy talked about some of the netizens’ comments against Willie.

Cristy was reacting to the news that Willie would become part of state-sponsored channels to entertain the ‘lowest of the lowest,’ which gained criticism on social media.

“Hindi ka naman nagta-trabaho para yumaman, ikaw ay gumagamit ng mahihirap para yumaman ka,” Cristy said while mentioning the criticism received by Willie.

However, Cristy said the accusations were unfair, saying she would never believe Willie was only using poverty to gain popularity and high talent fees.

Even if they had a feud several months ago, Cristy believed Willie’s intention to help was pure and not because of money.

She also praised Willie for keeping silent while preparing for his upcoming show.

Cristy was also confident that the said state-sponsored channel would gain viewers because of the television host.

“Sana lang wag magpagamit si Willie Revillame sa mga politiko na napakalayo pa ng boxing pero pumuporna na ngayon palang,” she said.
