GMA Journalist Vicky Morales couldn’t stop her emotion during her visit to legendary broadcaster Mike Enriquez’s wake at the Christ The King Parish, Greenmeadows in Quezon City.
In the photos posted by GMA News on August 31, Vicky was seen crying while peeking at Enriquez’s casket.
She was also seen talking to Enriquez’s wife, Lizabeth “Baby” Yumping to express her condolences.
Yumping was a fan of Enriquez who was working as a radio DJ before they met.
Morales was one of the closest colleagues of Enriquez. They worked together on Saksi from 1999-2004 and also on 24 Oras from 2014-2022.
The journalist also couldn’t hide her emotion while delivering the sad news on August 29.
Enriquez who became one of the pillars of Philippine Broadcasting passed away at the age of 71 after years of health problems.
He was last seen on television last year and took a break to focus on his health.
The legendary broadcaster would never be heard or seen again, but his legacy as one of the most trusted journalists in the country would remain.
