Actress Maricar Reyes admitted that she really wanted to have a child with her husband Richard Poon, but until now, they’re still failing to be blessed with a baby.
In an interview, Maricar shared that they already planned to have a child two years after their marriage, but they’re still childless after nine years.
According to her, the doctors didn’t see any problems in both of them.
“There’s no problem with him, there’s no problem with me. Feeling ko, we did our due diligence naman on our side humanly possible. Pero wala, e. So what are you gonna do?” said Maricar.
However, Maricar already accepted if she would remain childless.
“Meron lang talaga akong peace. Kung meron [anak], okay. Kung wala, okay. It doesn’t make me feel like I’m less of a person or I’m less of a female. Kung wala, e, wala. E, ginawa mo na yung part mo, e. And I rest on that.” she stated.
Maricar and Richard were married in 2013 after meeting each other in 2009.
In an interview, Richard admitted that he already fell in love with Maricar when he first saw her.
However, the early years of dating were tough, and they said that they were ‘on-and-off’ during those times.
Maricar also told her husband about her past, especially what happened to her in 2009.
“Eventually, tumawag ako sa kanya, and I told him lahat ng baho ko na nakakahiya. Kung ayaw na niya ako after telling him all the things that I wanted to tell him, e ‘di huwag. E ‘di tapos na. At least, before anything got more complicated, nasabi ko na.” she shared.
Fortunately, Richard wholeheartedly accepted her.
