Talent manager and showbiz columnist Lolit Solis gave her comment on the issue being faced by Arnold Clavio following the revelation of former Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Sarah Balagbagan about their past relationship with the Kapuso journalist.
Solis, in an Instagram post, said that many netizens were trying to annoy Clavio by mentioning the revelation of Balagbagan who got impregnated when she was just 17 years old.
According to her, the issue was old already and his private life should not affect his credibility as a journalist.

“Katawa dahil matagal ng issue iyan na paulit ulit na lang binubuksan pag gusto ‘buwisitin’ si Arnold. Isa sa pinaka mahusay at fair radio journalists natin si Arnold Clavio, iyon private life niya hindi kahit kelan naka interfere sa kanyang fair judgement at mga komentaryo,” said Solis.
“Hindi iyan isang lumang issue ang puwede sumira sa kredibilidad ng isang Arnold Clavio.Kung anuman ang tutoo, kung anuman ang gusto nila palabasin sa pagbubukas ng isang private na bagay sa buhay ng isang tao, this time sure ako papalpak ang plano nila kay Arnold Clavio,” she added.
Solis was all praise to Clavio, calling her a good man who’s doing his job as a news reporter.
She even called Clavio as her ‘idol’.
“He is a good man, a good person doing his job, hayaan natin siya. Kaya mo iyan Arnold, ikaw pa, Idol kita noh,” she said.
Clavio refused to give his comment on the revelation of Balagbagan, but he’s still using social media to show his daily activities.
It’s almost one week after Balagbagan revealed that she had a romantic relationship with her “Kuya Arnold”
They successfully kept their relationship hidden for 22 years because of the advice of Clavio to her.
“Alam niyo po simula noong nagkaroon kami ng relasyon ni Arnold ang payo niya sakin lagi ay ‘walang aminan, kahit anong mangyari wag kang aamin, napaniwala niya ako,” said Balagbagan.
Balagbagan explained that she admitted her past relationship with Clavio to end the rumors surrounding her first child.
