Ikatlo ka na! Lady from Cebu who offers 75-M pesos bounty on Duterte’s head put under custody of CIDG

Members of CIDG Central Visayas caught a woman for allegedly offering P75-M bounty on President Rodrigo Duterte’s head.

The suspect was identified as Maria Catherine Bentolan Ceron, 26, a resident of Sitio Tumoy, Barangay Ibabao, Cordova, Cebu.

Joint elements of CIDG Mandaue, CIDG Lapu Lapu, and Regional Intelligence Unit of Region 7 in coordination with Cordova PNP Regional and Anti-Cybercrime Unit Central Luzon conducted an operation against Ceron whom successfully traced around 9:30 AM on Wednesday.

Ceron was brought to the CIDG Mandaue office for proper disposition and documentation in preparation for the filing of the case: inciting to Sedition.

A Facebook page named “Tsismis” shared the alleged post of Ceron using Facebook name Ma Enirethac Norec against President Rodrigo Duterte.

Ceron on her post cursed Duterte a lot and even said that she’s ready to lose all her worldly possession just to gather money for the bounty on the President’s head.

“Kahit maubos ang pera namin, map*tay ka lang namin pisti ka, ngayon kung sino ang makakabasa nito kung sino ang makakap*tay kay Presidente Duterte, bibigyan namin ng pabuya,” she said in Cebuano.

“Magbibigay po ang groupo ng 75 milyon kung sino ang makakagawa nito, pm lang po o kaya punta po kayo sa bahay tumoy Ibabao Cordova Cebu, Hanapin po ninyo ako,” she also said in another post.

The camp of Ceron is not yet releasing their side on the issue.

Ceron is the third individual caught by the law enforcers because of posting bounty against President Duterte.

On Monday, teacher Ronnel Mas was brought to NBI Central Office in Manila for posting a P50-M bounty in exchange for Duterte’s life.

On Tuesday, a construction worker was also put under custody by the cops because of boasting that he would double the bounty offered by Mas.

People who committed inciting to sedition might get detained for a maximum of six years.

Groups already criticized the move of the law enforcers against the people posting a bounty on President Duterte’s head.
