‘Heneral Luna’ star John Arcilla expressed his disappointment over some leaders in the country that seems to focus on instilling fear to the minds of the people instead of uniting them.

Arcilla made the said tweet amid the criticisms being received by President Rodrigo Duterte after the chief executive warned the left-leaning groups to face extreme consequences once they tried to encourage the public to violate the ‘enhanced community quarantine’ being implemented by the government.

HANGARIN ang PAGKAKAISA,” Arcilla said on his Twitter post.

Meanwhile, followers of Arcilla commented to the actor’s tweet, saying that the latter should know why the said ‘leader’ is being strict to the people.

Arcilla couldn’t stop himself from replying to his followers, saying that the said leader should try to calm the “left” instead of giving them an ultimatum.

On April 1, President Duterte said that he would order the police to defend themselves at all costs once the situation becomes uncontrollable because of the people who disobeyed the government.

“My orders are sa pulis pati military, pati mga barangay, na pagka ginulo at nagkaroon ng okasyon na lumaban at ang buhay ninyo ay nalagay sa alanganin, shoot them,” Duterte said.
