Ruby Villanueva more popularly known as ‘Mystica’ on a vlog urged her followers to withdraw their support to President Rodrigo Duterte because of her dissatisfaction to the action of the national government over the c̶o̶r̶o̶n̶a̶v̶i̶r̶u̶s̶ crisis.
In a Facebook post, Mystica described Duterte as a man with “no common sense” and never treats his people equally.
“WE DON’T NEED A PRESIDENT WITH NO COMMON SENSE AND WHO NEVER TREATS THE FILIPINOS WITH EQUAL RIGHTS IN TIMES OF CRISIS!” Mystica said.
“MGA KABABAYANG GINAGAWANG G*G* AT T*NG* NG DUTA*NG PRESIDENTE AT MGA OPISYALES NA ALIPORES NIYA SA GOBYERNO, MAGKAISA TAYONG LAHAT! IT IS TIME TO SUPPORT VICE PRESIDENT LENI ROBREDO IN ORDER TO FIGHT FOR OUR SURVIVAL! HINTAYIN PA BA NATING TULUYAN NG MAGUTOM? THE TIME TO ACT IS RIGHT NOW! ~ MYSTICA,” she added.
In a 26-minute vlog, the struggling actress talked about the crisis being faced by the Filipinos because of the enhanced community quarantine being implemented by the government.
She also talked about the unfair policy of the government, especially to the distribution of relief goods, saying that if people like her are not eligible to receive money from the government, why they’re also included in the lockdown.
“Since na hindi naman pala daw kami kasama na bibigyan ng benefit pagdating doon sa government na tulong, pwes bakit pa kami kasama sa lockdown? Hindi naman pala kami kasama doon sa mga mabibigyan ng temporary support at food support, eh bakit pa kami kasama sa lockdown? Why we can just do whatever we can do para we will able to survive,” she said.
Ironically, while complaining about facing possible hunger, Mystica can be seen eating alot of food during her vlog.
It can be remembered that Mystica apologized to the President in the past, but now she announced that she’s going to take back her apology.
“Right now ay binabawi ko na apology because I don’t think anything that making sense right now, na talagang ibinibigay niyang parusa sa amin kung sino pa mga taong kami mismo ay walang ginawa kundi magbayad ng taxes, but right now hindi kami iprioritize,” she said.
“I’m challenging the President na siya ang i home quarantine, wag siyang palabasin at wag siyang bigyan ng pagkain at inumin, baka ilang araw lang ay hindi na siya mabubuhay, katulad ng mga ginagawa niya sa mga taong katulad namin,” she added.
