Controversial motorcycle vlogger Yanna Aguinaldo urged the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to prioritize other issues regarding traffic safety instead of solely focusing on her case.
In a statement she released on May 22, Yanna said that she was hoping that LTO would also prioritize other traffic issues.
According to her, LTO must focus on overloading, illegal parking, lack of pedestrian infrastructure, road hazards, and motorists without a license.
“I only hope this same scrutiny is directed toward more pressing, long-standing issues that truly compromise public safety on a daily basis,” she said.
She also insisted that there was insufficient evidence to justify the sanctions she received from the LTO.
“I accept the sanction imposed,” said Yanna. “Even in the absence of substantial evidence directly proving fault on my end. It’s worth noting too, that this involved a trail bike on an off road settings,”
It can be recalled that Yanna was facing criticism after she published a video showing her confrontation with a motorist.
Yanna was facing several charges from LTO and also from the camp of the motorist.
