Mambabatas, itinanggi na may alok sa kanilang dagdag pondo para ipa-impeach si VP Duterte

Cagayan de Oro City’s First District Representative Lordan Suan denied that House Speaker Martin Romualdez offered additional budget allocation to the lawmakers that would support the impeachment of Vice President Sara Duterte.

In a statement, Suan said that the supposed quote card of his statement on his decision to vote in favor of Duterte’s impeachment was fake, saying that the page posted it was not associated with his camp.

He said his vote was not a ‘personal attack’ against the Vice President and was only seeking accountability.

“It has come to my attention that a post from the FAKE PAGE, The Working Congressman, is circulating online. I never issued that statement. This is FAKE NEWS and BLACK PROPAGANDA aimed to mislead the people and tarnish my name, that of Speaker Martin Romualdez, and the House of Representatives. THESE ARE ALL LIES,” said Suan.

“I am a public servant and my loyalty will always lie with you: the people of the 1st District of Cagayan de Oro City. I have spent my time, my energy, and my spirit fighting for you, pushing for real change, for social services that lift us up, for infrastructure projects that build a brighter future, for laws that protect and improve the lives of every Filipino,” he added.

He also said that they only wanted to give Duterte a proper forum to defend herself from the accusations against her.
