The rider was identified as John Louie Arguelles, a resident of Antipolo Rizal. To the riding community, he was known as ‘master’ and ‘motopush.’

Other visitors in the area captured the incident, which showed John and another rider speeding while performing a Superman motorbike stunt despite the sharp curve approaching them.

The rider, wearing a yellow shirt, kept doing the stunt seconds before the curve, resulting in him losing control and sideswiping Arguelles.

Arguelles and the other rider crashed into a barrier where tourists were staying.

The rider would leave his 3-year-old son fatherless.

Arguelles’ relatives and friends asked the netizens to stop laughing at what happened to the Moto vlogger, saying that no one asked for the incident to occur.

The high fatality rate of Marilaque could be attributed to the riders who were doing dangerous stunts on the highway in exchange for a chance of being photographed.

The highway was so dangerous that it reportedly took lives every week.
