The family of the grab driver was planning to file charges against a student who made unverified accusations against their relative.

It can be recalled that several days ago, student Daniella Charlize Ramos publicly posted the information about the grab driver, identified as Jerricho Narvaez, after she claimed that the latter was fantasizing about her during their ride.

However, it was discovered that Ramos didn’t gather enough evidence to prove her claim, saying that her only proof was the ‘heavy breathing’ of the driver.

Narvaez then released a statement, saying that his weight and fullness caused his heavy breathing.

Several hours after receiving tremendous criticism from the netizens and ride-hailing community, she decided to lock her profile.

As Ramos was nowhere to be found, the relatives of the driver urged the organizations affiliated with the student to help them communicate with the former.

One of Narvaez’s siblings even showed evidence that even the previous customers noticed the driver’s heavy breathing.

They said that Ramos’s accusations affected Narvaez’s job and image.

“Walang ibang hangad yan kundi mapabuti ang mga anak nya, 2 babae ang anak nya at sa 35 years na magkasama kami sa tahanan never yan na involve sa any issues like this kasi confident ako na kahit patay na si papa namin napalaki at nabusog kami sa pagmamahal, pangaral ng aming ina,” he said.

If Ramos did not communicate with Narvaez, they would be forced to file charges against the student.

As of writing, Ramos has yet to give any response on the issue.
