Hontiveros, Diokno, and Aquino receive heckling from Duterte supporters in Cebu

Senator Risa Hontiveros and candidates Chel Diokno and Bam Aquino faced heckling from the supporters of the Duterte family during their visit to the Sinulog Festival in Cebu.

During an event at the Cebu City Sports Center, the host introduced Hontiveros, Diokno, and Bam when suddenly, a crowd shouted ‘Duterte.’

Hontiveros, Diokno, and Aquino were critics of the Dutertes.

While Aquino attempted his senate return, Diokno ran under the Akbayan party list.

“Daghang salamat sa napakainit na welcome sa amin,” said Hontiveros.

Cebu, one of the largest provinces in the Philippines, was considered one of the strongholds of the Duterte family.
