Director Darryl Yap reacted to Arnold Clavio’s negative comments against his movie about the late actress Pepsi Paloma.
In his Facebook post, Arnold expressed his belief that the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) would never approve of Darryl’s project because some parts of the movie may tarnish the reputation of some people mentioned in the story.
MTRCB can prevent any movies or television programs from being released if they find it unfit for public consumption.
As a response, Darryl told the journalist he had no position to decide for MTRCB.
He also mentioned Arnold’s alleged relationship with Sarah Balabagan when she was still 17 years old.
Darryl then asked Arnold not to lecture him about morality.
“Wag mo kong malecture-lecturan sa moralidad at tama o mali ha— yung ibinibintang sa akin— puro imbento. puro bunganga. yung sa’yo…may bunga,” Darryl said, referring to the rumored child of Arnold with Sarah.
