Netizens asked Director Darryl Yap to create a movie about former Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) Sarah Balabagan following the criticism the latter received from veteran journalist Arnold Clavio.
On his Instagram post, Clavio shared the trailer of Yap’s new movie about the late actress Pepsi Paloma, in which the name of veteran comedian Vic Sotto was mentioned.
Clavio said that the director may hide from artistic freedom, but he may still be held accountable by the law.
Yap made a two-letter response to Clavio’s statement.
However, some netizens wanted a more extreme response, like making a movie from Clavio’s rumored relationship with Balabagan.
“Next Movie: Sarah Balabagan Story: The Deception,” netizen Yoy remarked.
