Actress Ellen Adarna explained to her followers why she preferred not to throw a baby shower or gender reveal for her daughter Liana.
On her Instagram, Ellen responded to a netizen who praised the actress for not organizing several parties for her daughter like what other celebrities were doing.
“Mabuti pa to si @maria.elena.adarna kahit may kakayahang mag gender reveal and lahat lahat, still remained quiet lang. Yung kilala ko, di baleng lomobo ang kautangan, maitawid lang ang mga kapritso na di naman afford,” a netizen said.
“Hayaan mo lang sila kung ano trip nila sa buhay. Kanya kanyang trip lang yan. Basta ako wala akong gender reveal walang baby shower and wala akong utang – di ko trip mga ganyan hehehe,” she responded.
Ellen was part of the Adarna family, which is considered one of the richest families in Cebu, so netizens were surprised that she didn’t want a baby shower or gender reveal for her daughter.
It can be recalled that Ellen shocked the public when she announced her first child with Derek Ramsay.
Unlike other celebrities, Ellen successfully hid her pregnancy from the public and showbiz reporters.
