A man was put under the custody of the authorities after he was spotted while attempting to use a sharp object against an employee at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig City.
According to the reports, the suspect was already having cheating suspicions with his girlfriend, so he decided to wait for her to leave the building where she was located.
The suspect, who was waiting in the lobby of the building, saw his girlfriend exiting the elevator with the victim and wrongly assumed that the latter was having an affair with the employee.
When the victim saw that the suspect was holding a sharp object, he quickly ran outside the building, where a short chase happened.
The chase only ended when the victim entered another building to seek assistance from the security guards.
Meanwhile, the girlfriend of the suspect had already made a plea to the victim to withdraw the charges.
However, the victim said that he was already determined to continue his charges against the suspect.
