Some netizens and clients of a bank that announced two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo as their newest brand ambassador have expressed their disappointment with the decision of the said company.
Several netizens swarmed the social media page of the said bank and declared that they would not patronize the company.
Some individuals who also claimed to be clients of the bank said that they would transfer their money to another financial institution.
“Not interested. Stick ako sa BPI. Masamang impluwensiya sa mga kabataan, bastos sa magulang,” a netizen said.
“Lipat nalang siguro, baka gagaya mga anak namin sa kanya,” annother netizen commented.
It can be recalled that Carlos was being criticized on social media due to his feud with his parents.
Carlos openly accused his parents of pocketing the money he entrusted to them.
After the feud, Carlos decided to transfer all his money to the said bank who hired him as brand ambassador.
