Marjorie Llanto Boldo, a teacher at Tibagon Elementary School, suffered from heart problems after she was allegedly belittled by their principal, Alvin Escobar.

According to the reports, Escobar summoned Boldo to his office to discuss the incident that occurred during one of the teacher’s classes, where a student was allegedly hurt.

Boldo was also reportedly confronted by the student’s mother, which added to the teacher’s stress.

The teacher expressed her disappointment through her class group chat and defended herself from the accusations that she allowed the incident to happen.

According to her, the principal allegedly belittled her 31 years of service for not taking quick action to help her student.

Boldo was rushed to the hospital on September 17 and passed away two days later.

Gloria Llanto, the mother of the teacher, said that Boldo couldn’t do anything to the student as she had hemophobia.

Meanwhile, the Department of Education (DepEd) vowed to investigate the incident.

They also offered assistance to the Boldo family.

As of writing, the school’s principal has yet to give any statement regarding the issue he was facing.
