Veteran actress Maricel Soriano went viral on social media after one of her co-stars revealed her attitude on set.
In her Facebook post, “Lavender Fields” star Hazel Parfam shared how she witnessed Maricel’s professionality and humbleness despite being one of the most popular actresses in the country.
Maricel started as an actress at the age of six and is considered one of the most talented artists in the country.
According to Hazel, Maricel arrived on the set almost an hour before the call time and didn’t even complain if her tent didn’t have any air conditioner.
“10:45AM calltime on the set, arrived at 9:30AM ready, made-up…”
“No aircon tent in our 1st location, ‘no problem…ok lang ako dito sa tabi with electric fan'”
Netizens praised Maricel’s attitude, saying that newbie artists should learn from the Diamond Star.
It can be recalled that Maricel already gave her comment on the attitude of some new artists, showing that her humbleness as she didn’t mind being ignored.
“Sinabi ko sa sarili ko, ayokong ma-stress sa ganyan. Number one, hindi ko naman kayo kilala. Bakit ko naman i-stress-in ang sarili ko?” she said.
“Now, if you come to me and you tell me who you are, ganyan-ganyan, and then I will entertain you,” she added.
