Carlos Yulo’s father, Mark Andrew Yulo, went viral on social media after a video he published online touched the hearts of his followers.
In the video, Mr. Yulo was capturing himself riding a simple bicycle on his way to work.
According to the reports, Mr. Yulo was working as a travel agent liaison.
Despite the millions earned by his children from joining gymnastics competitions, Mr. Yulo is still determined to do his obligation to support his family.
“Bike to work, love and peace,” said Mr. Yulo.
It can be recalled that Mr. Yulo couldn’t hide his sadness when his two-time Olympic gold medalist child accused him of pocketing the cash incentives the latter received from different competitions.
He then defended himself, saying that if he were pocketing his child’s money, he would not be forced to travel to work using public transportation or riding a bike.

Ayon kasi kay Mr. Yulo ay sinabihan sila ni Carlos na umano’y kinukuha nila ang mga perang napapanalunan ng atleta sa mga kompetisyon. “PHP6 million pa lang yung pera niya, then naging PHP11 million. Hindi naubos yun. Bakit namin nanakawin yan?” ani Mr. Yulo. “Kung nasa amin yung pera, sana umalis na kami sa looban. Sana may mga account na kami, may kotse na kami. Wala nga kami, nagko-commute lang kami,” dagdag pa niya.
