Is Diwata planning to get a seat in the Congress?
Netizens couldn’t stop talking about the recent activities of social media personality Deo Balbuena, also known as “Diwata,” who was spotted at several activities conducted by a partylist group.
In a video, Diwata showed a billboard posted by vendors partylist representing Malu Lipana and Lorenz Pesigan.
“Ang laki ng billboard dito guys. So ayan, nakakatouch nga lang diba? Kasi sino ba naman mag-aakala na malalagay na tayo sa mga daanan na nakikita talaga ng tao. Sino ba naman ako para ilagay sa billboard? Kaya naman naaappreciate ko yung effort dyan. Maraming salamat!” said Diwata.
It’s not yet known if Diwata will also be included among the nominees of the said partylist.
Diwata’s affiliation with the partylist received mixed reactions from the netizens.
Some social media users found Diwata suitable as a vendor representative due to his Paresan business. In contrast, others believed that, due to his educational background, he could not become a lawmaker.
As of writing, Diwata has yet to give a response to his possible congressional bid.
