Atty. Ferdinand Topacio mentioned the charges filed by Bea Binene against a former radio DJ of GMA Network.
During a hearing conducted by the Senate’s Committee on Public Information and Mass Media, Topacio insisted that the charges filed by the Kapuso actress were real.
“Eto naman pong kay Miss Bea Binene, inireklamo po namin, minor po siya at that time, 15 years old,” said Atty. Topacio. “Inireklamo po namin, sinamahan po namin sa pulis,”
“Kasama po ‘yung mag-ina, pumirma po sila sa blotter, nag-execute po sila ng affidavit, nireklamo po nila,” he added.
Topacio even said that Bea had asked the authorities to confiscate the DJ’s phone and computer quickly.
However, the charges were reportedly withdrawn after the media was informed about the charges.
It can be recalled that Bea already denied that she filed charges against Barangay LS 97.1 former DJ Dan Villanueva, a.k.a Papa Dan, who became popular due to his radio program ‘Wanted Sweetheart.’
The DJ already denied it, saying that he was good friends with Bea.
“Actually, we’re very good friends. We have been friends, and we’re still friends. Magkaibigan lang talaga kami,” Dan said.
“Everything has been settled and ok. Nagkausap na kami,” he added.
Dan was currently living in Australia.
