Tuktok to Win party-list Rep. Sam Versoza explained why he was giving expensive canned goods when he was doing a relief program.
Versoza went viral on social media after he presented the relief goods he would distribute to different districts in Manila.
Some netizens saw that the lawmaker’s relief goods consisted of Spam, Delimondo, and Korean Noodles.

According to him, he used to crave expensive canned goods but couldn’t afford them in the past because they were poor.
“Ito kasi yung mga pagkain na paborito ko noong bata pa ako. Gusto kong matikman, masarap yung Delimondo, Cadbury chocolates. Minsan may gourmet tuyo pa, Korean noodles,” he said.
“Ito yung mga paborito ko so bakit hindi ko ipatikim sa mga kababayan ko? Naghihirap na nga, e, minsan nasusunugan, minsan nababaha, sardinas pa ang ipapatikim sa kanila. So, kung makakaya ko naman, ibibigay ko yung minsan lang nila matikman,” he added.
The businessman also said that he was trying to share all the blessings he got after he co-founded Frontrow.
“Mabuti na lang, mabait ang Diyos sa akin, na-bless ako ng magagandang businesses at naitutulong ko kaya nga suwerte lang ako dahil bago pa ako napunta sa pulitika, naging successful na tayo sa negosyo,” he stated.
“At least, kahit papaano, meron na tayong pinagkukuhanan. Hindi na kailangan, sabi ng iba, na manghingi tayo kung saan-saan dahil may sarili tayong pondo,” he added.
