Chloe San Jose gained a reaction from the netizens after she quickly refused the attempt of GMA reporter Mariz Umalis’ invitation for a quick interview.
During the athletes’ arrival, Mariz could be seen covering the arrival of the Filipino athletes who participated in the 2024 Paris Olympics when she saw Chloe walking behind her.
Chloe was having a photo op with some fans when Mariz approached her for a quick interview.
However, when the boyfriend of the two-time Olympic gold medalist Carlos Yulo saw Mariz, she quickly refused an interview.
“Ay sorry, wag na ako mag interview,” said Chloe.
“Wag na daw, and we respect that,” Mariz responded.
Mariz went back to her usual reporting and panned the camera away from Chloe.
It can be recalled that Chloe already said that she refused any interview with media people as she didn’t want to steal Carlos’ spotlight.
“You haven’t seen any media interview me because I DECLINE TO BE INTERVIEWED AND NOT TAKE AWAY HIS SPOTLIGHT,” she told a netizen.
