Olympic Gold Medalist Carlos Yulo’s girlfriend, Chloe San Jose, made a response to her boyfriend’s mother, who made a series of posts and statements against her son.
It can be recalled that Angelica Yulo’s posts on social media went viral after her son won his first Olympic gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Mrs. Yulo drew flak on social media after she publicly cheered for Carlos’s Japanese opponent during the event’s all-vault finals.
Carlos’ mother also granted an interview, openly criticizing her son’s decision and even blaming Chloe for causing all the problems in their family.
She even hinted that Chloe would only cause a financial burden to her son.
As a response, Chloe said she would wait for Carlos to finish his attempt to get a second gold medal in the men’s vault finals tonight.
“Mother dear, I’m gonna hold your hand when I say this… pero wait ka lang, tapusin lang po namin yung vault finals-paki-off na your comment section po ah,” she wrote.
“Japan pa din talaga.. lakas! but malakas din naman si Carlos Edriel Yulo, GOD IS WITH HIM,” she added, while trying to imitate Mrs. Yulo’s post.
Mrs. Yulo’s post was now deleted after being seen by millions of Filipinos.
