In his social media posts, Anjo Pertierra, the weather reporter of GMA News, shared how the flood wiped out all his belongings.

Pertierra, who’s a resident of Brgy. San Roque sa Marikina City was also affected by the flood brought by the typhoon.

The incident almost cost Pertierra’s life as he didn’t know that his room located in the basement of his property was already slowly flooding.

According to him, he was asleep when the water was already entering their house, but his concerned neighbors woke him up.

His clothes, computer, and other belongings were wiped by the flood, and he only recovered one bag of his clothes.

Despite the incident, Anjo still reported to work to do his job of informing people about the weather.
