An event host revealed that he also had a bad experience working with LGBTIQIA+ writer Jude Bacalso, who went viral on social media after she allegedly forced a waiter to stand and listen to her lecture for two hours.

According to Alvin Suan, he worked with Bacalso at an event in 2017-2018 where he was tasked to be the emcee.

Before he started his story, Alvin said that he expected Jude to never remember him as he was only a small-time host at that time.

The confrontation between him and Bacalso started when he was asked to call the writer’s attention for an intermission.

Like what happened to the waiter, Alvin also mistakenly addressed Jude as ‘sir.’

Alvin, who only made the remarks innocently, was surprised by Jude’s extreme reaction.

He then revealed that Jude told him that she would slap him if he addressed her as sir again.

Alvin shared that even Bacalso’s friends knew the writer’s attitude.

“Maldita ka Jude, pati host hindi mo pinatawad,” Alvin wrote in Cebuano. “No thanks, ayoko sa mga probinsiyano, lago,”

Lago is a Cebuano term that means dirty.

“Habang pauwi ako noon, awang-awa ako sa sarili ko dahil iyon ang unang beses na pinagtawanan at sinigawan ako sa publiko,” he said.
