Netizens were now searching for the suspect behind a vehicle collision that ended the life of a whole family in Laguna.
The incident happened in 2023, and many netizens asked for an update about the case.
According to the reports, the suspect, Alyssa Mae Abitria, who drove a pick-up truck, collided with the tricycle used by a family of Gilbert Palupit, Aileen Palupit, and their children, Ma. Aleisha Gale, Akisha Gillen, Alyssa Joy, and Ayesha Gillian.
Only Aleisha Gale, who was only four years old during the incident, survived.
The investigation showed that Abitria was under the influence when the incident happened.
Abitria was enjoying her temporary freedom after paying a bail worth P120,000.
There were also some reports that she didn’t experience being put behind bars as she was staying at the hospital while they were appealing for bail.
Some netizens believed that she was enjoying her freedom due to her connections.
There were also rumors that Abitria already left the country.
A netizen also shared some information about the incident.
“Nakaduty asawa ko sa hospital kung saan sya dinala nung time ng incident. 20-30 mins pagkadating daw ni killer sa hospital, may dumating na mga sasakyan na may kasamang mga abogado (alphard yung natatandaan ko na sabi ni misis). Napaka arte daw nyan at parang walang remorse. Andaming kinocomplain na masakit kahit tapos na siya makita ng doktor at sinabi na ok na siya para ma inquest ng pulis. Dumating pa sa point na yung chief ng calamba pnp ang nakipagusap para madala siya sa presinto,” the netizen narrated.
As of writing, Abitria’s camp has yet to give any update on the whereabouts of the suspect.
