A former action star and ‘That’s Entertainment’ actor, Arthur Benedicto surprised the public when she finally resurfaced again as a transgender woman.
Arthur became part of some projects and even worked with John Regala, Matet de Leon, Herbert Bautista, Jestoni Alarcon and many more.
During her return to the country, Arthur, who’s now calling herself Bambi Moreno, expressed her interest in working again in the showbiz industry, and one of her requests was to become part of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
“Gusto kong makapag-guest sa Batang Quiapo. Mentor ko si Joel Lamangan. Ang turo sa amin noon not scripted ang lines, batuhan lang. Nag-workshop ako kay Bernardo Bernardo at kay Joel,” Bambi said during a press conference at Cafe Escudero.
She then narrated how he discovered his true identity.
“At the age of seven alam kong babae talaga ako. Kaya lang, mahigpit ang parents ko,” he said.
After his stint, Bambi flew to Japan and worked as a ladyboy in a bar. There, she met another member of the LGBTQIA+ community, who helped her become a complete woman.
However, her parents couldn’t accept what she had become.
“Nagalit ‘yung brothers ko. Ang father ko, pinuntahan ako sa Japan. Sabi niya, gawin mo ang gusto mong gawin ‘wag ka lang magka-HIV. ‘Yung mommy ko, umiyak lang siya,” she narrated.
Bambi was currently working as a talent manager for aspiring artists who wanted to work in Japan.
She also planned to establish a comedy bar in the country and hire celebrity guests.
