A delivery rider filed a formal complaint against a resident of San Juan City after he experienced too much inconvenience after being damped by water during the ‘Wattah, Wattah Festival’ last Monday, June 24.

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora personally accommodated the delivery rider at the Office of the Prosecutor.

According to the rider, he asked the resident not to pour water on him due to his work, but the latter showed unruly behavior.

When the rider tried to stop the resident, the latter started to smash him with the water dipper and hit him with his fist.

The resident may face a minor penalty for his unruly behavior if only City Ordinance No. 51 is applied. This ordinance penalizes residents with a fine of P2,500 to P5,000 within six days of being put behind bars.

Zamora also apologized for his constituents’ behavior.
