Senator Robin Padilla expressed his confidence that his nephew, Daniel Padilla, would reconcile with Kathryn Bernardo.
In an interview with Abante, Robin said that a project between Daniel and Kathryn would be a big opportunity for the former couple to fix their problems.
“Ganyan talaga ang pag-ibig, sa simula may tampuhan dahil mga bata pa sila pero pag nag -mature sila mare-realize nila na sila pa rin sa isa’t-isa. Tingnan mo ‘pag nagkapelikula uli ‘yang dalawa magkakabalikan yan,” said Robin.
Robin also liked Kathryn for Daniel, even if the latter didn’t vote for him in the last election.
“Boto ako kay Kathryn Kahit hindi niya ako binoto,” he stated.
He also assured Kathryn that the Padilla family would remain respectful.
“Ang buong Padilla ay malaki ang pagpupugay namin kay Kathryn dahil nagbigay rin ng break kay Daniel kaya ang paggalang namin kay Kathryn ay sobra-sobra,” he said.
However, a project between Daniel and Kathryn may not happen anytime soon. It was reported that the Kapamilya actress’ renewed contract included not working with her ex-boyfriend on any projects.
It can be recalled that even Daniel’s father, Rommel Padilla, also hoped his son could still fix his relationship with Kathryn.
“Sana dumating ‘yung pagkakataon na magkita silang muli, magkaunawaan. Napakalaking panahon na nagkasama sila. Sana manumbalik pa ang kanilang pagmamahalan,” Rommel said.
