Celebrity fortune teller Rudy Baldwin went viral again on social media amid the news of a missing beauty queen in Pampanga.
On June 21, 2024, Mutya ng Pilipinas Pampanga 2023 candidate Geneva Lopez was declared missing after her relatives and friends had been failing to reach her by phone for more than 24 hours already.
She was reportedly last seen traveling together with her Israeli boyfriend to Tarlac.
After she was declared missing, some netizens highlighted a “vision” published by Rudy on her Facebook page.
The post was Rudy’s warning to people who were joining pageants.
“PINAG INGAT KO LAHAT NG MGA SUMASALI SA PAGEANT NA MAGING MAINGAT DAHIL ILAN SA INYO AY BIKTIMA NG PAGDUKOT AT WALANG BUHAY NA ITO NATAGPUAN .ITO AY HINDI PANANAKOT ITO AY ISANG BABALA O GABAY UPANG TAYO AY MAKAPAG INGAT SA ATING MGA SARILI,” Rudy wrote.
“ITO AY HINDI PANANAKOT ITO AY ISANG BABALA O GABAY UPANG TAYO AY MAKAPAG INGAT SA ATING MGA SARILI,” she added.
It can be recalled that Rudy also went viral on social media after some netizens connected her posts to the disappearance of beauty queen Catherine Camilon, who was still missing until today.
However, some critics also believed that Rudy’s vision was too general to be considered as fortune-telling.
