A man from Lapu-Lapu City went viral on social media after he was called ‘lucky’ by the netizens and even the mayor of the City himself.
In his Facebook post published on June 21, Mayor Junard “Ahong” Chan shared one of the oldest men who availed of their free circumcision o ‘tuli’ program, a 26-year-old from Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu.
It can be recalled that Chan offered P10,000 to old men who would avail of the Tuli program.
The said man, identified as Alfredo Jr., was circumcised with the help of Binibining Lapu-Lapu 2022, Cheron Kisses Co., who’s also working as a nurse.
Co assisted the doctor who operated on the man.
This is not the first time that the libreng Tuli program in Lapu-Lapu.
Last year, Chan also shared three men who submitted themselves for a free circumcision.
One of the most popular recipients of free tuli in Lapu-Lapu was a 73-year-old man who received a total of P50,000.
Tuli is a tradition that proves one’s manhood in the country.
Most uncircumcised people in the Philippines were often called ‘supot.’
