Despite their apology, Rendon Labador, Rosmar Tan, and Team Malakas were still facing severe accusations from the citizens of Coron regarding their visit to the island.
As the days passed, more netizens who claimed to be citizens of Coron testified against Team Malakas’ activities on the said island, including their alleged acts of visiting restaurants to eat for free.
The said netizen couldn’t hide his disappointment as the group received hospitality from the citizens of Coron.
“Kumain ka nga dito sa Coron, 20 katao kayo pinakain kayo ng libre may narinig ka ba? Ni piso hindi ka man lang nagtip sa mga nag serve sa inyo o sa banda na nag-entertain sa inyo, tapos lakas mo malahat ang Coron. Kapal!” the netizen wrote.
It can be recalled that previously, a friend of a restaurant owner in Coron, where Team Malakas allegedly visited, also complained about how the group ate at their restaurant for free in exchange for ‘promoting’ their establishment.
The source said the restaurant was already popular among the tourists in Coron and doesn’t need to be promoted anymore.
As of writing, Team Malakas has yet to give their statement on the free meals they received during their visit.
