According to Brigada News, the pastor, who was identified as Ben, 42, was caught by the establishment’s security personnel on May 30 while carrying the groceries and using another exit to skip the cashier.

Ben introduced himself as a pastor and even gave a bizarre explanation for why he didn’t pay for the said grocery items, which consisted of meat and canned goods.

The grocery items carried by Ben are estimated to cost P1668.

In his explanation, Ben said that God instructed him not to pay for the grocery items.

Some netizens believed that the pastor was already not in a good mental health condition.

Regardless of his reason, Ben would face charges from the establishment.
