Netizens couldn’t stop themselves from questioning the legitimacy of model Deniece Cornejo’s surrender to the authorities.
On May 2, 2024, Deniece voluntarily submitted herself to the authorities following the decision of the court about the charges filed against her by television host Vhong Navarro.
It can be recalled that the Taguig court decided to put Deniece under reclusion perpetua, which would put her behind bars for not more than 40 years.
The Bureau of Corrections (BuCor) released the mugshot of Deniece, which was taken on May 2, and netizens quickly noticed the difference in the model’s face compared to her previous mugshot in 2014.
Some netizens started to suspect that Deniece was not the person on the mugshot.
They noticed that the height of the woman compared to the old photo of Deniece was not the same.

However, several photos show that Deniece and the woman in the mugshot are the same person.
According to some netizens, Deniece’s change of facial features is normal, as her previous mugshot was taken 10 years ago.
