Former Sexbomb dancer Rochelle Pangilinan finally disclosed some of the little-known information about their removal from Eat Bulaga.
During an interview with Toni Gonzaga, Rochelle narrated how they were surprised by the feud between their manager, Joy Cancio, and executives of Television and Production Exponents Incorporated (TAPE Inc.) which resulted in their sudden absence from Eat Bulaga.
According to Rochelle, they were still supposed to perform on Eat Bulaga despite the issues that happened, however, their love for their manager prevailed.
‘Yung ganon,” said Rochelle. So Punta kami,”
After the incident, Rochelle disclosed that Eat Bulaga quickly looked for their replacement, which Rochelle admitted to causing displeasure to their group.
Parang nagpa-contest… Tapos this time, magaganda, bata, syempre ang sakit-sakit ‘nun sa’min. Parang ‘Ah, magaganda. ‘Di naman namin kasalanan yung kayo-kayo nag-away eh.'” she stated.
The group was replaced by EB Babes in 2006.
Rochelle said that until now, there has still been no closure between them and TAPE.
