Rachel Alejandro said that she was ready to portray former Vice President Leni Robredo in a biopic movie.
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Rachel reacted to some netizens who noticed her resemblance to Robredo, saying that she considered the comments she received as a compliment.
“How do I feel about being compared to VP Leni? I admire her, I respect her, and I think he’s very pretty so it’s definitely a compliment para sa akin para sabihin nila na kahawig ko siya,” Rachel said.
“How would I feel about portraying her in a biopic? Definitely. Kung meron man, count me in, I would love that… I would love to play VP Leni Robredo in any film that might be in works in the future,” she added.
It’s not yet known if someone was planning to produce a movie about Robredo’s life.
Robredo ran for president in 2022 but lost to current president Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
There were rumors that Robredo was planning a political comeback in 2025, but it’s not yet confirmed.
