Dina Bonnevie, ikinuwento kung paano niya kinausap noon si Vico Sotto matapos niyang mapansin ang hindi nito pagpunta sa Simbahan

Dina Bonnevie narrated how she met her ex-husband, Vic Sotto’s son, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto for the first time when he was still a child.

It can be recalled that Vico, who’s the son of Coney Reyes, was not keen to visit his father, and Dina as he thought that he was a product of Vic’s betrayal.

However, Dina, in an interview with Allan Diones in 2020, said that everything changed when she started to prove that she was fine seeing Vico.

“I remember dinala ni Vic sa bahay. And then, ‘yon. ‘Yong mga maliliit na damit ni Oyo binigay ko sa kanya, ‘yong mga book ni Oyo, nursery books binigay ko, ‘yong mga toy, ang dami-dami kasing toys ni Oyo, binigay ko sa kanya,” said Dina.

“Tapos parang Vic was saying, ‘Sorry sa nagawa ko, but this is my son.’ Pinakilala niya sa akin.” she added.

When she noticed that Vico was not attending the same Church where Dina was also a worshipper, she decided to confront the future politician to patch things up.

“For a while nakikita niya ‘ko sa church, umiiwas siya. Parang he didn’t wanna see me kasi nga parang I’m reminded of the sin. Sabi ko, ‘No, it’s not your fault and it was never your fault so don’t feel that way,’” she narrated.

Dina even said that Coney was the one who invited her to visit the said church.

“Siguro she was also trying to mend our friendship, asking for forgiveness, so sabi ko, ‘Sige, let’s forgive each other.’ Kasi marami rin naman siguro akong nasabi na hindi maganda about her, siyempre hurt ako. So, we forgave each other. And then ‘yon, sabi niya, ‘You wanna try to come with me to this church?’ So, ayon, nagpunta ako. I didn’t go with her but she invited me. Do’n na na-deepen ‘yong pagiging Kristiyano ko.” she added.
