Actress Carla Abellana insisted that she didn’t take advantage of her star status to sell her pre-loved items above the suggested retail price.
In an interview, Carla denied that she sold her items in poor condition, like what the netizens were accusing her of.
“Di yon totoo, Grabe kayo!” she said.
“I would sell something na much less naman than how much I got it for, di ba? Lalo na ‘yung condition niya, depende din doon,” she added.
Carla also said that she’s not forcing anyone to buy her items.
“Well, choice naman nila ‘yon kung if they are interested or want to buy or not,” she stated.
It can be recalled that some netizens called out Carla for selling some of her pre-loved shoes for thousands of pesos despite their condition.
“Kahit pa branded tapos ganyan quality? ‘Wag na lang nagbebenta kayo tapos ganyan ano tingin niyo sa mga tao? Bumibili ng basura?” a netizen said.
Some fans also defended Carla, saying that the netizens only noticed the actress’s few poorly conditioned items even if the majority of her items were still in good condition.
