Julia Barretto addressed the netizens spreading the separation rumors between her and Gerald Anderson.
In an interview with Melai Cantiveros, Julia said she was unaffected by the rumors since they surfaced monthly.
She also took a brighter outlook on the rumors, saying that the rumors meant that no one knew what was happening in her relationship with Gerald.
“Parang ganun ang balita, every month for how many years na talaga. Hindi ko rin alam saan nanggagaling,” said Julia.
“I think I’ll just take it as a compliment. I guess we’re able to create that private bubble of ours na hindi na nila alam masyado kung ano ang nangyayari sa partnership namin,” she added.
She believed that couples should stop oversharing their relationship with the public.
It can be recalled that several celebrities were known for updating the public about their relationship, like Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque, who just recently broke up.
“I think it’s a conscious effort on our end na talagang protektahan, na hindi kailangang mag-over share, hindi dapat bawat galaw kailangan alam ng lahat, so siguro that’s why they think [na break na kami],” she stated.
