Dennis Padilla couldn’t hide his frustration as he was still being ignored by his own daughter, Julia Barretto.
Through his social media page, Dennis appealed again to her daughter to give him a chance to talk with her.
“Dear Juy… Hindi ko matandaan kailan tayo huling nagkita… Hindi ko din matandaan kailan tayo huling nag usap…” he said.
It can be recalled that Julia and Dennis were not talking for years already.

In 2022, she opened up about her decision not to talk to her father.
“I think it’s not difficult for us to forgive. It’s also just, there’s a lot of fear because I don’t know what’s gonna happen. But forgiveness, of course, that’s for my own peace of mind but I’m just not that ready. There’s just so much pain since I was young,” she said.
“I’m just really not ready. I don’t wanna force myself also,” she added.
In the same year, Dennis criticized Julia and even reminded her about the things he gave to her.
“Nung malakas pa ako kumita at maliit pa kyo… Kanino ba naubos lahat? Sa inyo… Kasi gusto ko maginhawa ang buhay nyo. Kaya Karen davila interview mo ko para klaro ang lahat,” he said.
