Davao City Mayor Sebastian ‘Baste’ Duterte made a huge criticism against President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. during his speech at the Hakbang Maisug Leader’s forum in Davao City on Sunday.
In his speech, Duterte said that Marcos had all the power to fix all the problems happening right now and the issues surrounding the administration.
However, he believed that Marcos’ laziness prevailed and chose not to do something to solve the matter.
“I’ll go straight to him. You haven’t done anything to fix things. This has been going on for about a year. it started sometime in August,” he said.
“If you are an executive… I don’t know if you are sleeping or what,” he added.
It can be recalled that the Dutertes opposed the People’s Initiative being pushed by several government officials, allegedly by House Speaker Martin Romualdez.
Even the senators urged Marcos to convince Romualdez, who’s his cousin, to stop pushing for constitutional change.
Meanwhile, Marcos has yet to give any response to the calls made by Duterte, who’s the closest ally of their family.
