Former Eat Bulaga host Anjo Yllana was willing to return as a ‘Dabarkads’ if ever he received an offer from his former colleagues.
During a press conference held for the show ‘Itutumba Ka ng Tatay Ko,” Anjo said that he would never refuse an offer from Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto, and Joey de Leon, but at the same time, he was not optimistic about his current relationship with the legit Dabarkads.
“Hindi ko naitanong. Pero siguro medyo masama yung loob nila, kasi katapat din nila yung show na tinanggap ko,” said Anjo.
It can be recalled that Anjo left Eat Bulaga and joined another noontime show on Net25.
However, Anjo believed that his long friendship with the Dabarkads would overcome the hard feelings they felt when he left the show.
“Pero ‘yung tagal na pinagsamahan namin nina Joey, ni Tito Sen, ni Bossing, baka ilang araw lang ‘yung sama ng loob nila kasi mas malalim yung pinagsamahan namin,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Anjo gave his thoughts on the trademark battle victory of TVJ against Television and Production Exponents (TAPE) Inc, saying that the legendary trio was the rightful owner of the Eat Bulaga title.
“Kasi, isipin mo naman, Tito, Vic and Joey, tapos iba ang pangalan ng show nila, di ba? Talagang mas bagay naman sa kanila ‘yung title na Eat Bulaga. So, happy ako na napunta na uli sa kanila yung title, na pumanig sa kanila ‘yung desisyon ng korte. Karapat-dapat talaga ang Tito, Vic and Joey na magdala ng Eat Bulaga,” he said.
As of writing, TVJ Productions has yet to give any comment on the willingness of Anjo to return as a Dabarkads.
