A director couldn’t hide his surprise when he was informed about the appearance fee of Ian Veneracion for a 2-hour parade in Tarlac City.
In his post, Director Ronaldo Carballo disclosed the negotiation between a talent coordinator and Ian’s road manager, saying that the actor’s appearance fee would reach P500,000 for the first two hours and an additional P100,000 for every excess hour.
Ian’s road manager also added that the actor should have his float and must be paid in full before the actual event.
While the Tarlac Festival management said that they could afford the talent fee for Ian, they still withdrew from hiring the actor due to many demands given by the road manager.
The management then decided to replace Ian with Piolo Pascual.
Carballo said that if the story was true, the actor’s talent fee was overpriced.
“OA ang 500k for a parade kahit limang oras pa.
