Veteran columnist Cristy Fermin believed that Richard Gutierrez was the kindest member of his family, but not when he was drinking.
In her online program, ‘Showbiz Now Na’, last December 18, Cristy said that Richard’s kindness couldn’t be questioned as she never received any disrespectful gesture from the actor when Annabelle Rama filed a lawsuit against her.
“Nanghihinayang lang ako, kasi sa lahat ng anak nina Tito Eddie at Tita Annabelle, mababait silang lahat, e. Kahit nga kami [Annabelle] nagkaroon kami ng kasuhan noon. Libel ‘di ba? Pero never akong binastos ng magkakapatid na Gutierrez,” she said.
“At sa kanilang lahat, sorry Ruffa, sorry kay Kambal. Pero si Richard talaga ang pinakamabait na Gutierrez,” she added.
However, there were rumors that Richard was the opposite when he was drinking.
“Kapag nakainom at nalasing si Richard talagang hindi siya talaga mapipigilan. Masama siyang malasing,” she stated.
Cristy made the said statement amid the reports that Richard badly treated his wife, Sarah Lahbati, several times, which prompted the Lahbati matriarch and patriarch to reportedly oppose the continuation of the relationship between the two celebrities.
The veteran columnist also urged Richard to clear his name amid the continuous spread of the said reports about his treatment of Sarah.
