Cherry Pie Picache confirmed the rumors that she was already separated from Edu Manzano.
In her Facebook post, Cherry Pie clarified that while her romance with Edu ended, she couldn’t say anything bad against her ex-boyfriend.
“We’re very good friends, he’s a very good person, very good friend and you know, we will always love each other. So, ‘yun,” she said.
She also expressed that she was still open to having a new relationship, however, she would focus on loving herself for now.
“Hindi mo na pwedeng iasa yung kaligayahan mo or yung kabuluhan mo bilang tao sa ibang tao,” she stated.
Rumors about Cherry Pie and Edu’s separation have been circulating since March.
Several entertainment reporters also believed that the relationship between the two was only an act to hype the ‘Kakampinks’ last presidential election.
It can be recalled that Cherry and Edu, who supported the same candidate announced their relationship during the campaign period.
Edu also hinted about his status with Cherry in a past interview.
“Sixty seven na ako. What kind of relationship do you want? But you cannot deny the fact na matagal ko na siyang kaibigan for the past forty years, so we’re good friends.” said Edu.
