A content creator might face charges after he recorded and uploaded a video of a 4-year-old child without consent from his parents.
Influencer Nico Meneses was shown in the video holding an ice cream and then letting his own child lick it; it was followed by another child who also attempted to have a taste.
However, Nico refused to give the child a taste as part of his joke and uploaded it on social media without censoring the kid’s face.
“UY! DI NAMAN KITA ANAK! GUSTO MO RIN?? PABILI KA SA MAMA MO!” Meneses could be heard telling the child.
The video quickly went viral and reached the child’s parents, who mulled charges against Meneses.
In her statement, Adie De Castro said that Meneses should be held responsible for what he did to her child.
According to her, they would never disclose any of their steps against the influencer but they would assure that he would face the consequences of his actions.
“Nakuha napo namin ang kailangan namin, salamat sa malasakit ng mga concerned citizen.
Now all steps will be in discreet. Kagaya ng pagtake ng video sa anak ko in secret & pagpost nito for public shaming with malicious intention. Launching a shame campaign against a Mother & a 4yo Child for views,” she said.
