Veteran actor PJ Abellana believed that Carla Abellana hid the details about her separation from Tom Rodriguez.
In an interview with Morly Alinio, PJ talked about his rift with Carla, saying they had not communicated since the day he spoke about the possible reason why her daughter decided to end her marriage with Tom.
According to him, Tom was the only one who approached him and discussed his issues with Carla.
“Una sa lahat, kaya sumama ang loob ng side nina Carla marahil kasi wala kaming komunikasyon. Maaring nauna yung pagsasalita ko bago yung komunikasyon sa aming magkabilang panig. Kasi magkahiwalay kami ng bahay, ‘Di halos kami nagkikita na dahil busy schedule niya at ganoon din ako,” said PJ.

Meanwhile, PJ said that Carla became secretive with him about the matter.
“Honestly kasi hindi nagtapat sa akin, ang aking anak na si Carla tungkol sa isyu na yun. Marahil si Tom e kusang nagsadya dito at personal na kinausap ako at nakiusap sa akin na tulungan ko ang sitwasyon nilang dalawa ni Carla, na magkaayos silang dalawa,” he also said.
PJ insisted that his controversial interview with Cristy Fermin, where he talked about Carla and Tom’s issue, was only misunderstood by his daughter.
“Bilang magulang, wala na akong ibang concern kahit sa mga binitawan kong isyu o sitwasyon kung ano yung nasagot ko sa interview, ‘yung kay Cristy Fermin marahil bitin lang, hindi detalyado ang pagpapaliwanag ko kay Nanay Cristy Fermin. Kay nagkaroon ng misunderstanding ‘yung ibang tao maaring pati yung panig nina Carla,” he said.
It can be recalled that Carla and Tom’s marriage ended bitterly last February.
Carla hinted that her decision to leave Tom was related to financial matter.
